Halloween 2009

We figured out that you are nver too old to get candy on Halloween. All you need is a cute little girl dressed up in a lady bug costume! She looks cute, and mom and dad eat all the candy! LOL.... We had a great day with Faith. Mom and Pop came up for the game on Saturday so while they were there, we went to neighbors houses and showed off our little lady bug. Lee and I put into practice our artist skills and carved some pumpkins while Faith slept. Pop gutted mine. I'm not too into the goop inside the pumpkin. All in all I think they turned out well.

Our little bug!

Fall Time

A week ago or so Michelle Tencleve and I took some pictures of our little ones in the leaves. It was a lot of fun. Michelle made her this little hat! Perfect!

We had a "Hay" day!

Pea Ridge here we come! Saturday was a big day for Faith. She experienced a few first!
1. Hay Ride
2. Selecting a Pumpkin
3. Tasting hay
4. Visting Pea Ridge
The Mc Garrah Farms are about 45 minutes from our house. It is a really fun place to take kiddos. They have hay rides, barrel train rides for the kids. Pumpkins of course and various other things. We took Faith on the hay ride first. She loved the wind blowing in her hair. She told dad that she wanted to be a country girl when she grew up. Dad told her that her BMW he was going to buy her wasn't a very good farm vehicle. Dad pulled us around in a wagon until we found the perfect pumpkin. Actually we found our first two hanging out close together. We then found the perfect baby pumpkin for Faith and lastly selected a Fairy Tale pumpkin. I need to take a picture of it and post it. They are a different type of pumpkin. The name suites it well. Here are a few pics from the day!

Chillin' with DAD

So I am not so good at this blog thing. I let way too much time go by. Over the past week or so Faith has been rolling like crazy. She thinks that she needs to sleep on her tummy now. Mommy doesnt like this idea very much though. Yesterday she was tucking her knees up under her belly. She was all but crawling. She has also been working on her tan. We recently became members of the Pennington Pool, (in our backyard) and she has taken a liking to Carl the Crab. Everyday is a new adventure in her world. .

June 25th

Seems that I am only getting to the blog once a month. I wish that I could Blog everyday. There is so much that is changing with Faith. She has come a long way this month. She is holding her head up very well, rolling over, talking, and laughing! She will be 4 months on July 13th. Her little personality is really developing as well as her sleeping habits. She is sleeping a good 6 hour stretch and sometimes more.... Mom and dad are finally getting a little sleep. We went to Dallas this month to a wedding. It was a great trip. Faith is a very good traveler. It took us 7.5 hours for a 5 hour trip but who's counting?? Enjoy the pics!
Faith is ready for a garden party... She says she wants uncle Stepher to wear his seersucker pants to match.....LOL..(Uncle Stepher's are blue &white, no worries)
Pink is my favorite color on Faith, but what girl doesnt look good in pink....

Do you like my new ride?

Say Cheese!

THE BIG 30!!

This weekend was my 30th birthday. I cant believe that I am that young. 30 is the new 20 though.... or at least that is what I'm told. Friday morning well about 1 a.m. I was up with Faith and walked into the kitchen to find an envelope that said happy birthday. Inside the envelope was 2 tickets for the American Idol tour concert!! What fun!! That was a great supprise!

Saturday we had some friends over to cookout. It was a little crazy. I think we had 10+ kiddos all under the age of 6! I guess this is what happens when you get old...LOL.....

I also got a new camera for my birthday so I was able to take lots of pics of the little ones. So fun! Here are a few pics from the party!

Day at the Park!

Today was a wonderful day. I met my friend Kate at a local park and we sat with our little ones under a shade tree for half the day. It was so nice to get out of the house and have some other interaction with another mommy. Faith enjoyed snoozing while Kate and I visited. Thanks for the great day Kate!
