2 months!

This is a couple days late but seeems like that is the way life is these days. ALWAYS late!!! Peyton turned 2 mo. old on the 1st of Feb. He is changing so much everyday. He amazes me.

12lbs.
size 0-3 mo clothes

Size 1 diapers
eats every 3-4 hrs. even through the night
Doesn't have a naptime pattern down yet
Has peeped a smile or two
Loves to watch his big SIS!

Loves his bath time, I dont think he has ever cried in the tub. He loves the water...watch out Michael Phelps!

SNOW DAY

It snowed here today about 5 inches. It was Faith's first time to play in the snow and acutally understand what was going on. We made the mistake of telling her Monday that it was going to snow on Tues. She walked around all day saying "no, no, no......." and looking out the window. Its so cute the way she says it. She made a snow angel but before I could snap a shot of it Copper ran through it. boo...

Newbies

Tomorrow will be Peyton's 2 mo. old birthday. I can't believe that he has been with us for 2 months. Time has flown by. He is such a precious gift. The Lord has and continues to work in our lives. I feel so blessed to be the mom of two healthy children. Today I was holding both of them in my lap and thinking how lucky I am. Not to say there aren't hard days. There are many days when I am barely able to keep my head above water. I do think that I have added a few bags under my eyes. Peyton continues to have reflux problems that keep him unhappy at times. He is not the best sleeper at night. I get LOTS of one on one time in the middle of the night. I will say, I am up on all my info-mercials. I really want a steam shark! One of these nights I am going to break out the credit card at 3 a.m. and buy it. LOL!!

Peyton had his 2 mo. old visit last week and was weighing in at 11 lbs. 1 oz.!!! He has gained almost 6 lbs in 7 weeks. I think we may have a football player on our hands. He is in the 50% percentile for weight and 10% in height and head circ. He still eating every 3 hrs. around the clock. Although we have had a couple times that he has gone 4 hrs.

Two mommas

Turns out that Peyton has two moms! He is well taken care of by sister. Faith always makes sure that brother has a pacifier at all times, even when he doesnt care for one. She likes to help burp him and she checks his diaper by squeezing it and saying "wet, wet". She loves to cover him and give lots of kisses. I couldn't ask for a better helper.

The other morning when I was getting ready Peyton was crying. I looked over to find that Faith had stuck her finger in Peyton's mouth to soothe him. He was just sucking away on her finger.

Christmas 2010

This year Christmas was a little out of the ordinary with a new baby and not being able to travel. We were blessed to have family come to US! Judy came the week before Christmas to help with the kids and take care of Lee while he was recovering from knee surgery. Matthew and Chanie came up to NWA from Houston on the Tues. before Christmas and Dan and Kathy came the week of Christmas and left Christmas morning, and mom and dad came Christmas afternoon. The Brannons, and Becca and Stephen made a suprise visit on Christmas Eve. It was so good to see each and everyone!! We have the best familes! Sorry, for some reason I dont have pics of all our visitors......Not sure how you escaped the Pennington camera.....

Aunt B and Uncle Stepher came came for a suprise visit. Even though you cant see Peyton's outfit it says, " On Aunties nice list"....wonder who got him that outfit???!

The Gift of Life

I don't have the time to explain all the events of Nov. 30th but know that the Lord's hand was at work in so many ways that night. Peyton Toler Pennington was brought into this world on Dec. 1, 2010 at 3:16 a.m. He is such a little miracle baby! We came home from the hospital last sunday and are adjusting well. Faith is an amazing big sis! She loves her baby brother. Gotta run for now, but I will have lots more pics to come in the following days. Praise the Lord for all He has done for us. He truely worked a miracle on Tues. night. Thank you Lord for saving Peyton's and my life.
