Love is in the Air

Here are a few pics from our baking day. My precious friend Michelle and her son Hudson came over and made valentine sugar cookies for our sweethearts! Faith and Hudson have their own cooking going on too!
Faith and Hudson get to play a lot. Every Tuesday night either we watch Hudson or they watch Faith so Lee and I get a date night every other week. It has worked out really well and gives the kids a chance to play together.

A few weeks ago my friend Kate and her son Will came over to play. Kate brought with her a little art project for the kids. Seeing that she is an Art teacher this is very fitting. Faith had her first experience with paint and getting messy. Ok not her first experience with making a mess....

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love the lights on the tree, smell of cinnamon candles, christmas carols playing in the background. (Lee probably wonders how many times a person can play a christmas CD.) Oh and not to mention, I do start playing them in Oct.

This year was especially great. We got to share our christmas traditions with Faith. She enjoyed the paper and ribbon as much as anything. I know that every year, christmas time will just get better and better for her and us!

Lee and I feel overwhelmed with the love that we feel for our daughter. Someone told me that they couldn't begin to describe how much they loved their kids. I never understood until now. God has given us such a wonderful gift. Faith is amazing in so many ways. She has given me a different look on life. I see things in a whole new light. I told mom the other day that the first time she is does something to dissapoint me it is going to break my heart. I'm sure those days as far far away......LOL......For now I am going to just enjoy her every moment. She is really developing a personality. She is full of engery and is crawling everywhere.



My new years resolution is to Blog more often. I want to share all the special moments and experiences. 2009 was a year that changed my life. I never knew how hard but wonderful being a parent would be. Stay tuned for more!

Halloween 2009

We figured out that you are nver too old to get candy on Halloween. All you need is a cute little girl dressed up in a lady bug costume! She looks cute, and mom and dad eat all the candy! LOL.... We had a great day with Faith. Mom and Pop came up for the game on Saturday so while they were there, we went to neighbors houses and showed off our little lady bug. Lee and I put into practice our artist skills and carved some pumpkins while Faith slept. Pop gutted mine. I'm not too into the goop inside the pumpkin. All in all I think they turned out well.

Fall Time

A week ago or so Michelle Tencleve and I took some pictures of our little ones in the leaves. It was a lot of fun. Michelle made her this little hat! Perfect!

Pea Ridge here we come! Saturday was a big day for Faith. She experienced a few first!

The Mc Garrah Farms are about 45 minutes from our house. It is a really fun place to take kiddos. They have hay rides, barrel train rides for the kids. Pumpkins of course and various other things. We took Faith on the hay ride first. She loved the wind blowing in her hair. She told dad that she wanted to be a country girl when she grew up. Dad told her that her BMW he was going to buy her wasn't a very good farm vehicle. Dad pulled us around in a wagon until we found the perfect pumpkin. Actually we found our first two hanging out close together. We then found the perfect baby pumpkin for Faith and lastly selected a Fairy Tale pumpkin. I need to take a picture of it and post it. They are a different type of pumpkin. The name suites it well. Here are a few pics from the day!

So I am not so good at this blog thing. I let way too much time go by. Over the past week or so Faith has been rolling like crazy. She thinks that she needs to sleep on her tummy now. Mommy doesnt like this idea very much though. Yesterday she was tucking her knees up under her belly. She was all but crawling. She has also been working on her tan. We recently became members of the Pennington Pool, (in our backyard) and she has taken a liking to Carl the Crab. Everyday is a new adventure in her world. .
