5 months!

This is a good day to write a blog about Peyton. I can actually see straight and not fall asleep at the keyboard. The past few weeks have been really tough on me and Peyton, and Lee might say on the whole family. "If momma ain't happy, nobody happy".... Peyton has not been sleeping very well at all. He has been waking up 7-8 times a night. Plus feeding twice! I have been totally exhausted physically and emotionally. BUT, and there is a BUT, He did very well last night. I let him cry it out for a while and he put his self to sleep and slept until 2:00 am. He went to bed at 8:30. Then he slept until 5:30 this morning! PTL! All that to say, I feel like a new woman today!
I have had a really hard time deciding what to do about his sleeping. On one hand I want him to cry it out and get on a solid schedule, but on the other hand, I like getting him out of his crib and cuddling with him. I wasn't like this with Faith. But I think knowing that we may not have anymore kids and all that I went through with him when he was born makes it tougher on me. Here are a few pics of the little man:

He loves to stand up when he can. He is very strong for his age.

STATS:

size 2/3 diaper

15lbs 14 oz.

50% in weight

25% in height

Still eats about every 3 hours during the day.

See above for night time. (lets not even go there)...

He is holding toys and chewing on them.

He has a tickle spot on his right side.

He is starting to interact with Faith much more.

Faith likes to help me change his diaper in the morning. She does most of the work.
