Pump it up

Faith loves to work out with dad. It cracks me up every time. She is wanting “pink” weights! I have some 5 lb purple ones that she tries to use that are purple but they are a little too heavy……. Faith is doing sit-ups with dad.

He’s on the GO!

    The last week or two it has been fun to watch my little guy take off walking. He is on the go! I have actually been looking forward to this day. He is much happier because he can keep up with his sister. It took about 13 1/2 months but we are finally there!

Faith and Peyton have a new little play area. Faith says it’s where they sleep and they can “snuggle buggle” so cute!

Faith and I did a Valentine craft while Peyton was napping one day. She had a blast, so did mom!!!! Thanks Kat-Kat for the “craft-kit”!

Christmas 2011

Christmas this year was the best one I have had I think since I was a kid! Having children brings back the “spirit” of Christmas and reminds me of being a child again. I know it should feel like this every year when celebrating the birth of Jesus but this year it just seemed extra special. Faith is at the age where she understands the whole Christmas “gig”. We stayed up here this year for Christmas and Lee and I agree it was the best decision. We all went to the Christmas Eve service at Fellowship. The kids loved it because they got to play with glow sticks that were handed out instead of candles for the kids. When we got home we had pizza and made sugar cookies for Santa. Lee took Faith outside to listen for Santa and see if she could catch a glimpse of him. Sure enough they saw and heard Santa. In the distance she saw him fly by and heard his bells on his sleigh.Christmas morning we had cinamon rolls and opened presents. I was a fun filled day. Even Peyton joined in the fun of tearing into presents.

A funny phone conversation

Faith was on her pretend cell phone. Faith: hey mommy I'm on the phone with Mary? Me: Mary who? Faith: jesus's mommy. I'm telling her I'm about to bring them cupcakes. Joseph is at work. First hair cut

Peyton received his first haircut over Christmas. My sister-in-law does hair so she cut it. It looks so good. He looks like a little man :( love this guy!
He did really well too! He sat in the sink while Angie cut it.

A pintrest steal

I saw this nifty little pen organizer on pintrest the other week. It came from ikea. I just had to have it. Every time I put pens, pencils, etc. in the desk drawer they disappear. But now they are out of reach of the little ones. Well for the time being at least. Thanks matt and Chanie for picking them up for me!

the Pantry RAID

One afternoon in the middle of December I was preparing to take dinner to a friend who had just had twins. Faith was napping and Peyton was busy entertaining himself in the pantry, which he does quite often so I didn’t think too much of it until I looked over and he was helping himself to a sleeve of Oreos! He had somehow pulled them off the shelf and managed to open them up. He had an oreo in each hand! He was having the time of his life. Instead of running over and spoiling his fun. I grabbed a camera and watched him enjoy himself. I need to post the video. Its even funnier! He definitely has Henderson blood running through him! Growing up we ALWAYS had Oreos at our house. It was a staple in our diet.
