10 months

So I am a little delinquent in writing Ian’s 10 month post. It seems that life has gotten a bit crazier than it was just a few months ago. Ian started army crawling in April and has not slowed down a bit. He wants to explore everything! He has gotten two bottom teeth in and sporting them quite cutely! He has says momma and dadda really well. Here are a few shots from the month.

naps 2 naps a day. Goes to bed at 7pm.

Farm friends

Yesterday I took Faith and Peyton to Farm Friends. The event is held by Farm Credit and some other companies I believe. They had lots of different animals that the kids could pet and look at. It was a perfect day for it. We all had a great time.

Faith and Peyton were laying on the bed watching TV this morning and I just couldn’t help grabbing a camera and capturing a sweet photo. I striped Ian down and put him up there beside them. I love all 30 toes up on that bed!

Faith turns F-O-U-R!!!

Faith turned 4 on March 13th. I know every parent says this, but I can’t believe that the time has gone by so fast!! I can not imagine my life without this sweet girl. She is my second half when it comes to helping during the days with the boys. She has a heart for others and a serving caring spirit. She always is looking out for others. I am honored to be her mother. I have watched her grow so much over the past year. She has gone from a shy reserved little girl to a confident-chatty little thing. Her teacher tells me all the time that she is very funny and has a good sense of humor. I’m sure she gets that from her mom..ha. Lately she has been very involved with Ian. She loves to play with him and read him books. I tell people that I could leave her with the boys to run errands and she would run a tighter ship than me!

This year she wanted rain gear attire for her birthday. She got a raincoat, rain boots, and an umbrella. Her nanna Judy found a raincoat and pair of rain boots for Ellie too. (Ellie is her doll). She takes mothering Ellie VERY seriously. She also got a matching PJ set for her doll and her. She loves matching outfits. 

I brought home donuts the morning of her birthday. This is celebration number 1 of 3 that day! 

After dinner we did presents and ate cake. Our friend Anna came over to help celebrate!

The girls decorated princess bags with glitter foam stickers and glitter glue and made crowns decorated with jewels and glitter paint.

 

This is Faith’s friend Faryn from school. They are best of friends. Their birthdays are just 2 weeks apart!

Taylor, Ameila, Moriah, Hannah,Faith, Evie, Faryn, and Peyton!     Peyton enjoyed doing everyone’s hair with the new salon kit. He called them his “tools”   

Faith got a salon kit from her friend Mollie. Faith and Peyton were practicing on grandad. Too bad he doesn’t have any hair to practice on!

A few first

Last week was a big week for Ian. He started army crawling, his first tooth broke through, and he had his first chick-fila nugget! The boy could not get enough of a chicken nugget. I would love to know how chick-fila makes their nuggets because I've never met a kid that doesn't like nuggets. I'm sure this is the first of thousands that he will eat! Ha!


For the last week or so Ian has been getting up in his knees and rocking. But this week he figured out how to army crawl and get any and E-V-ER-Y where! He can be across the house in a matter of seconds. He tries his best to keep up with Peyton and Faith.


He finally has 1 bottom tooth and is about to get another one next to it. Peyton was right at a yr when he got his first tooth, so Ian is a little earlier. He loves to eat solid foods with that one tooth! Ha!
