Trick or Treat

Halloween 2010 was a fun one with Faith! She discovered suckers. If you notice, every picture I took envolves sucker. Mom and Pop came up for homecoming this weekend. This was Pop's second year in a row to come up on Halloween. We took Faith to the square on Friday afternoon. By the time we left I think she had taken out 3 suckers and accomplished getting stickiness on all three of us. So note to self, if you want to win my daughter over just bring her a sucker.

Faith loves to put anything and everything into her baby stroller and wheel it around the house. I thought it was time to get her a shoppping cart this week. She was giving me a "thumbs up"!

Faith amazes me everyday. She is really starting to be able to help me out. She has really taken interest in taking care of Copper. Everytime Copper needs more water she brings the bowl to me. She also takes it upon herself to go in the laundry room and fill Copper's food bowl up. I think she is going to be a big help with Peyton. Or at least thats my hope!

She has started putting two words together. Mostly bye bye daddy or hi daddy...... We went down to LR this weekend and she started saying for grandparents names too! Cant believe my little girl is 19 months!

I have been working on Faith and Peyton's rooms for weeks now. It is a very slow process seeing that I have to do things when Faith is asleep. I had these buffet lamps since college. In college I used them in my bedroom. I had a black comforter so I glued a black boa (sp) to them. The feathers were cute then, no so much anymore...... I needed some lamps for Faith's room so this is what I cam up with.....

I spray painted the lamp bases and the shades. The colors are a little off in the photo. The shades are a butter yellow now and the bases are heirloom white. I added some beaded trim to complete the look.

Bama vs HOGS!

A quick shot at 28 weeks! I cant believe that I only have 12 weeks left! Time is flying. I am spending every spare second getting the kid's (yes, pural) rooms ready. I will post pics soon! I love being creative and crafty its just hard with a little one running around! I am feeling good. Just really tired all the time. I'm sure this is just a small taste of how tired I will be in a few months. We have an ultrasound on Friday to see if the placenta has moved any and to check on little Peyton. I'm excited to see the little guy!

This past weekend Becca and Stephen and mom and dad came up for the game. It was a lot of fun! We had a really good weekend. The only thing that would have made it better is if we would have won. We almost knocked off the #1 team in the nation though. Good try hogs!

Dad brought Faith a little black dog from Virginia. She is really into dogs right now so of course she loved it. She has been playing with it everyday. This morning she was taking it for a stroll with talking on her cell phone.

The dog is yet to have a name......

First day of school...

Monday was Faith's first M.D.O. She did much better than I ever would have thought. I think that mom had a harder time than she did. I dropped her off and there were no tears, well at least not from Faith. I did fine until I peeked through the window when I was out in the parking lot and saw my little curly blonde headed girl standing the the classroom twirling her hair. I just wanted to run back in there and pick her up. I never imagined that it would be that hard to leave her for the day.

When we got home I rewarded her with an OREO cookie! If you know that Henderson clan at all you know that Oreos are a staple. I grew up eating oreos everyday! Dad these pics are for you. I thought you would be proud. I had to capture Faith eating her first oreo ever! What a historic moment!

Today Faith and I met a few other friends at Murphy park in Springdale this morning. Murphy park has lots of ducks and they were HUNGRY! This was Faith's first time to feed the ducks, she enjoyed them for the most part.

The geese were a little pushy. She made a run for the stroller a few times! Overall it was a good morning although I think the ducks and Faith split the bread 50/50.
