Lakin 2010

I had been looking forward to this weekend all summer. The only people missing were Matthew and Chanie...=( Dad came in from VA and Becca and Stephen came over from Memphis. This was Faith's first real lake trip! She absolutely loved it! The pictures will tell the story. We got there Friday afternoon and left on Sunday. Mom's birthday was on Tues. so we celebrated it a few days late at the lake.

A tri to remember.....

On August 21st, this past Sat. Lee participated in his 3rd triathlon. He finished really strong. Faith and I decided to suprise Lee at this one and be there at the finish line. The tri. was in Bella Vista which is about a 40 min. drive from Fay. Turns out we got lost and missed Lee finishing...=( But we still had a good time and I think that Lee was happy that we came out. Lee's strongest event is swimming. He came out of the water with the top competition! We are proud of you babe!

Faith decided to beat the summer heat and take a dip in the lake. The last two tri's I had brough her bathing suit and we didnt use it. I should have known that today she would want to swim.

Results of a non-swimmer diaper.........Just had to take this one after Faith has soaked up half the lake with her diaper. Bless her heart that thing weighed a ton!

Just another summer day( and a great photographer)

Last week Faith and I went over to play with Kate and Will. Kate is a photographer and took these sweet pics of Faith. This little face just makes me smile. Over the past few weeks I have come to realize how blessed I am.

I cant imagine how much God loves us. I look at Faith and know how much I love her and then think that God loves me so much more. How can that be possible!

Saturday morning to Ricks!

Faith and I went to Ricks Bakery yesterday morning for a little mother daughter time. Lee went to FAC for swim practice so it was just us girls. Faith Loves doughnuts. She ate 7 doughnut holes! Nothing like getting your child all sugared up for the day!

20 weeks!

20 and counting....

So I can't believe that I am half way through this pregnancy and this is my first blog about being preggers. The past few months have been a whirl wind. Week 6-12 I felt pretty bad. I was lucky to get makeup on and my hair brushed. This summer Faith has been sick a lot so between not feeling good and her bsing sick its been hard to get to the computer.

We found out end of April that we were pregnant again! Faith was barely a year old. We were both a little shocked but knew that God's plan is not ours. We are thankful that we have NO problem getting pregnant. As time passes and more and more of our friends struggle with infertility we are very thankful for what He has given us. I look at Faith everyday in aww of her and how perfect she is for our family.

We found out on Thursday that we are having a BOY!!! A boy!!! what a boy!!!! Lee and I both had it in our minds that we were going to have another girl. Funny how the Lord loves to give suprises! We are excited to have a boy and girl! We have always liked the name Peyton so the name was easy. Peyton Pennington, just sound like a sports super star! Now the designing can begin!

A reason I love talented Aunts!

Its so great to have talented family members! My sweet Aunt made this dress for Faith. I absolutely love it! She is so talented at so many things. One being smocking! She has 3 girls so she has had years of practice! The dress is a very small pink and white gingham fabric with little flowers smocked on it. I need to try and get some better pictures of Faith in it. I tried it on her and she was not in a "tryin" on mood. Thanks Aunt Gail!

A visit from Papa Dan and Kat Kat

This past weekend Papaw Dan and Kat Kat came to visit us. I wish I had video of Faith when they arrived. She was so excited! So was literally bouncing off the walls and showing off. By 6:00 p.m. she was ready for bed!

Faith was not feeling too good this weekend so we just layed low. Although, Kathy and I managed to slip away for a treat from Orange Mango! I didnt take many pictures but I have a couple.
Faith was worn out by this time and I think she was afraid that mom and dad were going to leave her. This pic is pricless. Dan is laughing and Faith is screaming! What a photo opt!

Faith had a great time with Kat Kat. She enjoyed all the attention and spoiling from grandma.
