Mom’s 60th birthday suprise weekend!

Last Thursday we headed down to Little Rock for mom’s 60th birthday.Mom had no idea that we were coming down. Dad made reservations for the whole family to meet at Arthurs Steakhouse in Little Rock on Friday night at 7:00 pm. Matthew and Chanie made the trip from Houston and Becca and Stephen came in from Memphis and Pop from Newport. We all showed up at the restaurant a little before mom did so when she walked in the whole family was there! The food was as good as the suprise! We had a great time as a family. Dad, did all the planning himself. I was proud of him. Here are a few pics from the night  

Above is the knife box. Each of us got to pick out our own steak knife, The waiter said that Arthur’s is the only restaurant in the US that does this.

 

Dad picking out his utensil  The waiter gave Pop a hard time when he picked out his knife. Pop picked one out that was the largest and most rugged for his Salmon. The guy joked with him saying he must be preparing for the salmon to be quite tough!

Pop gave mom a watch.

We spent some time with Judy and Sonny while we were down there too. Here’s a cute pic of Judy and the kids.
