Greers Ferry

This weekend I headed over to Greers Ferry lake to spend the weekend with my sister, mom, and dad. I took Faith and Peyton with me. Lee graciously volunteered to stay home with Ian. A baby and the lake doesn't mesh too well. We had a great time. The older two are old enough to really enjoy it! I felt like I was able to enjoy it too. Going to my parent's cabin always brings back great childhood memories.
Saturday morning we headed to the swim area at the camp ground. The kids loved playing in the sand mounds, swimming, and watching the sailboats in the distance.

Saturday afternoon Peyton was zonked! He took a 2 1/2 hr. nap!

It rained the rest of the day, so we just hung out around the cabin. The kids discovered the world of video games. They pulled out our old Nintendo and played Duck Hunt.

Aunt B showed them the ropes.

Peyton's face when he missed a duck.
The next morning we were out on the water by 9:00am. We were all sportin' the super softs!

Watching Grandad pull up the ladder.
Faith rode the tube for the first time! She loved it!! She chose aunt B to be her riding partner.

Next was Peyton. He was a fearless as a expected. He didn't want to wear a swimsuit, so he wore his PJ top and swim diaper out on the boat. Guess he didn't want a shorts tan line. Ha!

We spent the rest of the day boating, swimming off the boat, and having water gun wars.

We stopped off at our favorite marina to feed the fish and have a fudge pop! Family tradition ;)

Pringles even taste better on the boat. Ha!
It was a great weekend. Wish we lived closer so we could make the trip more often. Thanks mom and dad for a great weekend!
